Aston Martin fined $450,000 for cost cap breach

The FIA announced today that Aston Martin would be fined for their procedural breaches of the new-for-2021 financial regulations. When the results of the review of cost cap submissions were revealed almost three weeks ago, Aston Martin and Red Bull were the two teams found to have breached the regulations, while Red Bull had committed a minor overspend, it was only a procedural issue for Aston Martin.
