Magnussen must relinquish his seat at Haas to Fittipaldi in Mexico
Pietro Fittipaldi will take Kevin Magnussen' s place during the first free practice session for the Mexican Grand Prix. As such, the Dane is not the first driver to relinquish his seat this weekend. Article continues under ad Haas opts for Fittipaldi Like every other F1 team, Haas has to use a rookie twice in 2022. That rookie has to take the place of one of the regular drivers during a first free practice session. In Mexico, Haas will use that rookie for the first time and the honour belongs to reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi.
