What the Audi F1 deal means for Sauber

Sauber's transformation into the Audi works Formula 1 team from 2026 is a big step up for the Swiss-based outfit who can now target the top step of the podium for the first time ever in their history in the top flight. The move from midfield to major players will still take time, however, for a team that has not won a Grand Prix in their 373 attempts since 1993, with 32 different drivers since then.
