‘You had a good lap?’ Charles Leclerc mocks Max Verstappen
Charles Leclerc had a laugh at the expense of Max Verstappen at last weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix. The Dutchman was fuelled to complete a final run during qualifying, but he did not have enough in the tank to be able to provide a fuel sample to the scrutineers if he went round again. He was therefore called into the pits during his last attempt, and on a drying track with the lap times plummeting, that sent him down to eighth for the start of the race. Leclerc took his ninth pole of the season for Ferrari, ahead of Sergio Perez, Sir Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz.
