Valtteri Bottas pinpoints major difference between Mercedes and Ferrari power
Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas has been highlighting the differences between the Ferrari engines he has been using this year, to the Mercedes power units he became accustomed to in the five years previous. The Finn raced with Renault power in his debut season in Formula 1 with Williams, who switched over to the Brixworth-made power units at the turn of the turbo-hybrid era in 2014. Bottas would join Mercedes alongside Sir Lewis Hamilton in 2017, and his 10 wins helped the German side to the Constructors’ Championship in all of those five years.
