Ex-F1 driver leaves team principal role at Maserati

Jerome d'Ambrosio has become the latest high-profile figure to leave the newly named Maserati Formula E Team, as it transitions from Venturi for the upcoming season and start of Gen3. D'Ambrosio joined Venturi in 2020 as deputy team principal but took on the role of team principal in 2021 after Susie Wolff relinquished the role to become the team's CEO. With d'Ambrosio in charge, Venturi enjoyed their most successful season yet in the all-electric series, where the Monegasque team came an all-time best of second in the Constructors' Championship, whilst driver Edoardo Mortara claimed third in the Drivers' Championship.
