Breaking: Lewis Hamilton handed warning after ignoring FIA order
Sir Lewis Hamilton has been handed a warning by the FIA after he failed to report to the medical centre following his opening-lap collision with Fernando Alonso. The former McLaren team-mates crashed on the first lap of the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix, as Hamilton attempted to overtake Alonso. Immediately after the collision, a furious Alonso got on the radio to his team, hitting out at the Mercedes driver and claiming he only knows how to race when starting from pole position.
