Video: Leclerc crashes Niki Lauda's Ferrari at Monaco
Formula 1 championship leader Charles Leclerc crashed the iconic Niki Lauda Ferrari 312 B3 during a demonstration lap at the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix Historique. Apparent brake failure when driving at pace late in Leclerc's demo lap session with Jacky Ickx in a Ferrari 312 B2 on his home track, meant he lost the rear end of the car which crunched its rear end into the wall. The current Ferrari driver was at the wheel of the car which Lauda drove during the 1974 season, his first year with the Italian team, for a handful of demonstration laps on his home circuit.
