Bahrain Grand Prix: Gentlemen start your ENGINES!
Predicting the outcome of today's 2022 Formula 1 World Championship season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix might seem easy, Max Verstappen or the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are the most likely winners. Perhaps so on the evidence of Qualifying, but who knows what will happen in the race with these brand new cars. It will be one of high attrition, the state-of-unreadiness of some teams suggests another couple of days of testing at least would have made sense as teams come to terms with these vastly new cars. Too late for that. Race what you bring is how this season starts and those with solid packages will probably rise to the top, while others perhaps flattered in qualifying...
