McLaughlin grabs first pole for IndyCar St. Petersburg Grand Prix
This weekend the IndyCar series will start again. The first Grand Prix takes place in the streets of St. Petersburg in Florida, where Scott McLaughlin took his first pole position. McLaughlin embarks on first IndyCar race from pole Rinus Veekay was one of the first drivers to enter the race. He was in the first group on behalf of his team Ed Carpenter Racing, where he set a third time. That was enough to advance to the 'Fast Six', where the six fastest drivers fight it out for the pole position in the final phase.
