Sainz clarifies possible contract extension at Ferrari

Carlos Sainz has an expiring contract at the end of the season, but intends to remain loyal to Ferrari for longer. He tells that in an interview with Formule1.nl. The Spaniard experienced his first season in Formula 1 last year. Whereas in the first Grands Prix he clearly had to struggle to catch up with his new team, he developed at lightning speed and managed to score important points in the final phase of the season. It resulted in a fifth place in the World Championship, giving him 5.5 points more than his teammate Charles Leclerc.
