Alpine and BWT confirm title sponsorship deal

As expected, water treatment company BWT has jumped ship to become title sponsor at Alpine. This morning, Alpine and BWT, one of the leading suppliers of water treatment systems worldwide, announced a strategic, long-term partnership whereby BWT becomes the title partner of the Alpine F1 Team from 2022 onwards, the team becoming BWT Alpine F1 Team. BWT had previously sponsored Lawrence Stroll's Racing Point team, but was known to be unhappy when the Silverstone-based outfit morphed into Aston Martin and as well as taking on Cognizant at title sponsor dropped the previous pink livery in favour of green.
