Williams completes presentation season with FW44 launch date
Williams Racing will reveal its 2022 contender in an online event scheduled for February 15. The Grove-based outfit's all-new car – the FW44 – once again takes its initials from the team's founder, Sir Frank Williams who passed away last November. The British squad which is now owned by US private equity firm Dorilton Capital will field Nicholas Latifi and new recruit Alex Albon who replaces Mercedes-bound George Russell The Canadian, who scored seven points last year, will embark on his third season in F1 with Williams while Albon returns to the grid after a year on the sidelines with Red Bull.
