Video To news overview © Aston Martin Aston Martin’s new factory build near Silverstone is making good progress, as the team have shared a time-lapse video of the build progress on social media. Last year, the team began work on a new factory facility after having used the same factory as predecessors Force India, Spyker/Midland and, going even further back, Jordan back during the 1990s. With the former Racing Point team becoming Aston Martin for 2021 under Lawrence Stroll, the decision was made to heavily invest in new facilities and bolster the team with new personnel.
