Verstappen sympathises with Masi: 'Unfair to start hating on him now'
Race director Michael Masi has been the target of criticism since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The decisions he made in the final stages of the race are not universally appreciated. Max Verstappen stands up for Masi. In conversation with the BBC The Dutchman let it be known that he sympathizes with the race director. Fans, as well as well known figures from Formula 1, strongly criticize Masi for his approach and inconsistent decisions this season. "People say maybe he needs help. Yeah, fair point.
