Counterpart Drive to Survive aims to attract wider audience to MotoGP

Formula 1 's two-wheeled counterpart, MotoGP, is getting its own documentary series. For the first season of the series, which is scheduled for 2022, camera crews from Amazon Prime filmed behind the scenes at the premier class of motor sports. Dorna Sports, the commercial owner of the sport, confirmed this on the official website. The series follows a similar format to Netflix's successful Drive to Survive, which filmed in the Formula One paddock for the fourth consecutive year in 2021. It takes a look inside the garages of various teams and drivers, with special focus on the emotional farewell of MotoGP veteran Valentino Rossi.
