Horner surprised: 'Very unusual that Mercedes are in this situation'
According to Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, reliability will play a key role in the championship. Yesterday, Mercedes announced that Valtteri Bottas is gonna use his sixth internal combustion engine, giving the Finn a five-place grid penalty. "Reliability can be decisive. You have got to be there at the end of the race. Mercedes are weighing up that the risk versus reward", Horner says on Autosport.com. He stresses that it is surprising for Mercedes to struggle with reliability.
