Verstappen: Finishing second won't change my life

2021 Formula 1 title contender Max Verstappen played down the pressure of fighting Lewis Hamilton for the championship and said on Thursday in Istanbul that the outcome would not change his life either way. The 24-year-old Red Bull driver is two points adrift of Mercedes' seven times world champion, and 100-times race winner, Hamilton ahead of Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix, with six races remaining after Istanbul. Verstappen has won seven times this year compared to Hamilton's five. 'We are very relaxed but also very focused and of course we want to win,' the Dutch ace told reporters.
