Wolff declares Verstappen ‘second winner' of Russia
Lewis Hamilton may have been the first across the line at the Russian GP, but Toto Wolff concedes Max Verstappen was also a 'winner' with his P2. After months of waiting, Hamilton finally claimed his 100th Formula 1 race win, taking the chequered flag as the drama from a late-race rain shower played out in his favour. The celebrations were partially tempered, at least for Wolff, by the driver who came second, Verstappen. Despite starting P20 on the grid, the Dutchman was up in seventh place when the rain hit and, as the chequered flag fell, was P2 behind Hamilton.
