FIA makes statement after dramatic Belgian GP for fans

The FIA has put a message online for all fans of Formula 1. They regret that the Belgian Grand Prix could not last the full 44 laps and that the drivers only came onto the track to do the minimum number of laps behind the safety car. FIA releases response "Following the significant weather disruption to the 2021 FIA Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix, the FIA and Formula 1 are disappointed for all the fans at the track and at home that today’s race could not go to full distance, but the safety of the drivers marshals and spectators must always be the priority," the statement said.
