Latifi would be ‘very disappointed' if dropped by Williams

Having spent two 'very tricky years' with Williams, Nicholas Latifi would be disappointed if the team dropped him ahead of 2022's reset. Latifi arrived on the Formula 1 grid in 2020, suffering, it's fair to say, a wretched first season as he was white-washed by his team-mate George Russell in qualifying, with neither driver going onto score a single point. This year the qualifying trend has continued, although it is a different story when it comes to the points scored. Latifi finished P7 at the Hungarian Grand Prix, scoring six World Championship points, and also beating Russell who was P8 on the day.
