Horner praises Perez: 'Shows what he's capable of'

Sergio Perez has extended his contract at Red Bull Racing. The Mexican has clearly impressed the management of the Austrian team. Christian Horner speaks of a 'highly respected team member'. Perez moved from Racing Point to Red Bull Racing in 2021 to replace Alexander Albon. The Mexican lost his Racing Point seat to Sebastian Vettel, but got a place at a top team in return. At Red Bull, he won his first Grand Prix for the team and qualified once ahead of Verstappen.
