AlphaTauri completely stops developing 2021 car, focus to 2022

At the start of this season, Haas was the first team to say that they would focus on the 2022 car. The team is currently the worst team and didn't see the point of developing the current car. During the season more teams started looking at next year and AlphaTauri has now announced it will focus on next year's car. "Thereis no point in wasting time in the wind tunnel. It was clear to all of us that development would stop after we made that decision. The aerodynamics specialists now only have to focus on the new car," explained technical director Jody Egginton in conversation with Auto, Motor und Sport.
