Verstappen sees Silverstone crash as confirmation: "I'm at the right place"
Since 2015, Max Verstappen has been one of Formula 1's tastemakers. This even though he only had a single year in Formula classes behind him. After a season in Formula 3, he made the jump straight to Formula 1, without winning the F3 championship. Nevertheless, the Dutchman found his place at Toro Rosso and was able to grow. "I went straight into F1 so you have to learn that, especially when you have a car just fighting more at the front, you don’t need to race all or nothing all the time," Verstappen explained in conversation with The Race. The Dutchman explains that he has always had the winner's mentality and that this mentality can sometimes cause problems in Formula 1....
