Alfa reveal timeframe for 2022 line-up decision

Alfa Romeo team principal Frederic Vasseur has confirmed the team will announce their 2022 line-up by September. With Alfa Romeo's backing secured in a new multi-year deal, the Swiss-based team can now set about deciding their driver pairing for 2022. Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen have been behind the wheel for Alfa Romeo since 2019, although neither driver is a certainty for next season. Valtteri Bottas, Mick Schumacher and Robert Shwartzman are among the drivers to have been linked with displacing one or both of Alfa's current line-up.
