Bottas: It feels like being in a Finnish sauna

Article To news overview © Mercedes The hot conditions in Hungary didn't stop Valtteri Bottas from posting the fastest time in FP2, though the Finn admitted after that it made for a sweaty session. Bottas finished with a time of 1:17.012, 0.027 seconds ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton as Mercedes responded to Max Verstappen's FP1 performance. Bottas admitted that it felt like driving in a Finnish sauna given track temperatures hit over 60 degrees celsius. "Honestly, it feels like being in a Finnish sauna, that's a good comparison especially when you stop with the runs and you get the heat," Bottas told F1 TV. "[Feels like more than] 60 or 70 degrees in the cockpit....
