Wolff: A double podium with the second fastest car

Toto Wolff believes that Mercedes achieved the best possible result at the Styrian Grand Prix, despite Max Verstappen running away with the win. Verstappen took pole by two tenths on Saturday and then lead throughout the race on Sunday, with Lewis Hamilton having to settle for a somewhat distant second. Valtteri Bottas was one place further back in third, with Verstappen now holding an 18-point advantage at the top of the drivers' championship. Red Bull are also ahead in the constructors' standings, currently possessing a 40-point margin over Mercedes, with a second race at the Red Bull Ring unlikely to yield a turnaround for the reigning champions.
