'Any mistake can be very costly' – Mercedes' Andrew Shovlin

Both Mercedes drivers ended the opening day of the Styrian Grand Prix having made mistakes, but with very different consequences. Lewis Hamilton would've ended the day fastest however he had his lap-time deleted for track limits; whereas Bottas received a 3-place grid penalty for spinning in the pit-lane!
