Styrian GP preview | Verstappen favourite to open bigger championship lead
From France, the Formula 1 teams can go straight to Austria, where we will see two races. Next week it's the turn of the Austrian Grand Prix, but we start with the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. Can Red Bull Racing continue their run of three wins on home soil? You can read all about it in this preview from GPblog. Red Bull Ring The Österreichring was completed in Spielberg in 1969, and in 1970 the first official Formula 1 race was held at this circuit. The Austrian GP remained on the Formula 1 calendar until 1987. After that, the circuit returned under the name of the A1-Ring, and the circuit looked more like the current layout.
