Aston Martin recruits Alfa Romeo chief designer Furbatto

Aston Martin is set to strengthen its technical department with the hiring of Alfa Romeo chief designer Luca Furbatto while technical director Andy Green steps up to a new global role with the team. Furbatto began his career in Formula 1 in the 1990s as a performance engineer with BAR, subsequently working for Toyota before enjoying a ten-year stint at McLaren. In 2011, Furbatto moved to Toro Rosso where he remained for three years. He later joined Manor as its chief designer before moving to Sauber Motorsport in June 2017.
