Wolff jokes about Russell's Mercedes future after Bottas crash
Article To news overview © Williams Toto Wolff has jokingly hinted that the incident between Valtteri Bottas and George Russell at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix hasn't exactly done Russell's future Mercedes prospects any good. Bottas and Russell both crashed out mid-race when a battle for ninth position ended in Russell seemingly losing control and hitting the Mercedes of Bottas. The Williams driver was visibly furious afterwards and accused Bottas of trying to kill them both.
