Retrospective: the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix through the years
This weekend is set to see the Grand Prix at the Emilia Romagna circuit. After an absence of almost 15 years this track became the surprise hit of 2020, leaving the FIA no other choice than to put the race on the calendar for this year as well. Below you can read an overview of the Grands Prix hosted at this historic circuit. Valtteri Bottas was on pole position in 2020, setting the stage for what was to become a chaotic Grand Prix. While Bottas managed to hold on to the lead position, fellow Silver Arrow Lewis Hamilton was soon passed by Max Verstappen for P2.
