Vettel reveals how Hockenheim trip kickstarted his F1 journey
Article To news overview © Aston Martin Sebastian Vettel has been recounting the moment that he fell in love with motorsport, in a recently shared video by Formula 1 TV. The German describes going to a free practice session at his home race in the early 1990s, where the speed and sound of the V12 cars would leave a big impression upon young Seb. "I went with my father to Hockenheim, I think it was in 1992," Vettel said in a video posted to the official Formula 1 YouTube channel. "It was free practice, so we got very cheap and late tickets.
