Raikkonen the first driver in the tire barrier in 2021

In the second free practice session of 2021 the drivers start to push the limit of their car for the first time. Kimi Raikkonen found that limit in one of his first laps of the session, not long after Nikita Mazepin had also spun. Mazepin did so in Turn 7 and had enough runout lane there to continue with a set of square tires. Raikkonen was less fortunate. He lost control coming out of Turn 2, slid through the gravel trap and lost his front wing in the tyre stacks.
