Ferrari and AlphaTauri set for extra pre-season preparation

Formula One’s two Italian squads Ferrari and AlphaTauri are planning to carry out extra on-track preparation ahead of the official pre-season testing with both outfits looking set to use one of their previous cars. Motorsport.com reported that AlphaTauri is set to give its rookie Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda an opportunity in order to prepare the Sagamihara-born driver for the new season. The 20-year-old driver, who ended up third in this year’s FIA Formula 2 Championship, has already completed a test run with the team’s two-year-old car at Imola following the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
