Russell reflects on ‘incredibly difficult' 2020 season

George Russell has opened up on the behind-the-scenes difficulties Formula 1 drivers faced during the 2020 season. While everybody involved in the sport did a great job to get the World Championship started in July, four months after its originally planned March opener, strict rules had to be put in place and that meant those involved in the sport had to operate in their own separate bubbles. That was part of the COVID-19 protocols which drivers and other personnel had to follow to ensure that the reduced 17-race calendar could be completed, which of course it eventually was.
