Carey hopes deal with Amazon will revolutionise watching Formula 1
Since Liberty Media became the owner of Formula 1, the sport is catching up on their presence on the internet and other online services. Another service may be added, as Chase Carey is negotiating with Amazon, among others. Bernie Ecclestone has always been a notorious sceptic about the internet and the availability of images of an F1 race on this platform accessible to everyone. With Liberty Media at the helm, the sport's Youtube channel has grown tremendously in just a few years and has partnered with parties that do not belong to the traditional TV channels, such as Netflix.
