Haas confirms Pietro Fittipaldi for Sakhir Grand Prix!
Haas reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi will make his Formula 1 race debut with the US outfit next weekend, subbing for the injured Romain Grosjean. The Frenchman, who managed to escape his car's wreck and a fiery blaze on his own after a 221 km/h impact with barriers, suffered minor burns to the back of his hands while X-rays revealed no broken bones. On Monday, Haas said that Grosjean was continuing his convalescence at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) hospital where he is being treated for burns "sustained on the back of both his hands".
