Race control to start investigation into fast times in Q1

In the closing stages of the first part of qualifying at Istanbul Park, many drivers were in a hurry to do another fast lap. Conditions had clearly improved from the situation before the red flag. In their attempt to advance to Q2, some drivers may have pushed too hard under yellow flags. A yellow flag was dropped when Nicholas Latifi's car ended in the gravel. Almost the entire field improved their time after Verstappen crossed the finish line.
