AlphaTauri's Imola performance 'not down to luck' - Tost
AlphaTauri team principal Franz Tost says that Daniil Kvyat's excellent fourth place in Sunday's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was down to the team making the right calls, and nothing to do with luck. The day hadn't started well when Kvyat's team mate Pierre Gasly who started from the second row of the grid was soon sidelined by a radiator water leak, leaving Kvyat flying the team colours. Kvyat had qualified in eighth place and made an early pit stop. But the race turned on the call to bring him in for a fresh set of soft tyres under a late safety car while others ahead stayed out.
