Palmer: Russell's mistake is easier to do than you would imagine

George Russell's crash behind the safety car in Sunday's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is not quite as grevious an error as it has been made out to be, says Formula 1 pundit Jolyon Palmer. An incident that potentially cost him the first points of his F1 career, Russell was at the front of the pack following the safety car on cold, hard tyres when on lap 52, he spun into the barriers before Acque Minerali. Taking to Instagram after the race, the Briton branded it 'the biggest mistake' of his career.
