Williams entering Portuguese GP blind without Portimão simulator

Willaims driver Nicholas Latifi has revealed to heading into this weekend's Portuguese Grand Prix virtually blind as the team does not have the Portimão circuit on its simulator programme. The Algarve International Circuit will host the country's first F1 race since 1996 after being drafted in to bolster a calendar hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. Article continues under video As the second of the new circuits this season, teams will arrive with little-to-no data, although some drivers will at least have undertaken simulator running as part of their preparation for the inaugural event.
