Doornbos hopeful: 'Then Verstappen can fight Hamilton'
The Russian Grand Prix has so far only been won by a Mercedes driver and this does not seem to change in 2020. According to Robert Doornbos, there is no other winner to be expected. The Russian GP has been on the calendar since 2014 and has been dominated by Mercedes ever since. That became the whole of Formula 1, but in Russia Mercedes managed to win every race. Robert Doornbos therefore expects little spectacle during the race in Russia, where Valtteri Bottas might be able to ensure a good result.
