Eiffel GP to open Nürburgring gates to 20,000 fans

Eiffel Grand Prix organisers have been given permission to welcome 20,000 fans at the Nürburgring for next month's round of the F1 world championship. The event, scheduled on October 11, has been given the green light by local authorities to accommodate the contingent of spectators with the help of stringent safety measures that will include masks, social distancing and contactless ticketing. However, ticket sales for each designated grandstand will be released incrementally, with the process being fulfilled over the upcoming three weeks if there is no spike in COVID-19 cases in Germany.
