Guenther Steiner: "We got pretty lost in 2019"
Haas team boss Guenther Steiner says that the corona crisis has not only had a negative impact on his team. Because of the stop they got to know their car better. For many teams, the corona crisis was a major financial collapse. McLaren needed a loan from its shareholders, Racing Point team boss Otmar Szafnauer admitted that the team would no longer exist as Force India and Williams even sold the whole team. In an interview with Auto, Motor und Sport, Steiner says that an update to the aero package had to wait. "We needed a financial plan so we wouldn't have to close the tent."
