Pirelli: "Fastest strategy around Mugello is a two-stop"

The Tuscan Grand Prix is expected to be a challenge for the drivers and for the Pirelli tyres, just as it was around Silverstone. According to Pirelli, a two-stopper will be the fastest strategy. With multiple turns at full throttle, the Mugello circuit will cause a lot of wear and tear in the tyres. Add to that the high temperatures - according to AccuWeather the mercury will rise to as much as 29 degrees in the afternoon in Tuscany - and it will be a Grand Prix where the tyres won't last long.
