Mugello FP1: Bottas leads, Leclerc in the frame

While it was business as usual for Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas out front, Charles Leclerc provided a pleasant surprise for the local fans in FP1 at Mugello on Friday. Setting the pace with a time of 1:17.879, Bottas was just 0.048 seconds ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, with Leclerc an encouraging 0.259s further back.   Report in progress…
