Hamilton delighted with qualifying: "Fantastic performance"
Mercedes is also unbeatable on the Monza circuit. Lewis Hamilton was once again faster than teammate Bottas and led the timesheet throughout qualifying. It meant the 94th pole position for the six-time world champion. "It wasn't too bad," Hamilton said afterwards. "Fantastic performance from the team today in terms of timing when they put us out on track. It was not the easiest - you saw how close it was between us all - and it really demanded a clean lap.
