Binotto denies claims that Ferrari wants Cowell

Mattia Binotto has denied reports that Ferrari is looking to sign Andy Cowell, claiming that he's happy with the current staff. As the head of Mercedes's High-Performance Powertrains, Cowell is a key reason why the German team has been so dominant in the hybrid era that started in 2014. It was announced in June that he was to step away from his role. Since then, reports have claimed that Ferrari approached him with the hope that he could rebuild their power unit department, and that he turned the offer down.
