Drivers warned over track limits at Spa-Francorchamps
Formula 1 drivers have been warned that they risk having lap times deleted if they exceed track limits at this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix. The system has been trialled successfully at previous grands prix this season, with drivers having times erased if they put all four wheels outside of the track limits. In his pre-event notes Formula 1’s Race Director Michael Masi has warned that drivers must not cut behind the apex kerb of Turn 4 (Raidillon) or run behind the painted kerb on the exit of Turn 9. The drivers have also been warned that if they run wide exiting the Bus Stop chicane both that lap and the following lap will be invalidated by the stewards. Related Posts Video: Back...
